Convene Today’s Experts
We gather thought leaders with diverse backgrounds and interests for productive conversations that tackle the world’s most urgent energy challenges.
Research Agenda
Our research agenda is a key to our identity—it guides our projects, events, courses, and written work. We support research that:
- Addresses timely challenges
- Attracts and engages critical stakeholders
- Builds a diverse portfolio
- Advances the work of the University of Pennsylvania
Support
The Kleinman Center for Energy Policy was established in July 2014 with a generous $10 million gift to the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design from Scott (C’94 and W’94) and Wendy Kleinman. In 2019, we received an anonymous $30 million gift that established our endowment fund. This fund since has benefited from the generosity of many Penn alumni donors.
