Danny Cullenward is a Kleinman Center Senior Fellow. He is a climate economist and lawyer, a Research Fellow with the Institute for Carbon Removal Law and Policy, and the Vice Chair of California’s Independent Emissions Market Advisory Committee.
Jesús Fernández-Villaverde is a professor of economics and research associate for the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and Penn’s Population Studies Center, and a Research Affiliate for the Centre for Economic Policy Research.
Mark Alan Hughes leads the Kleinman Center as co-faculty director and writes on topics ranging from deep decarbonization to the future of Philadelphia’s energy landscape. He is also a professor of practice at the Weitzman School. 
Kelli Joseph is a Kleinman Center Senior Fellow. She works at the intersection of policy and markets, with a focus on transitioning the electricity sector to support a decarbonized, climate resilient economy.

Sarah Light is an associate professor of legal studies and business ethics at the Wharton School. Her research interests include climate law and policy, environmental law and policy, and private environmental governance.

Kristina Lyons is an assistant professor of anthropology in the School of Arts and Sciences and the Penn Program in Environmental Humanities (PPEH) at the University of Pennsylvania.

Presidential Distinguished Professor
Michael E. Mann is the Presidential Distinguished Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Science, with a secondary appointment in the Annenberg School for Communication. He is a faculty fellow with the Kleinman Center for Energy Policy.
Ioana Marinescu is an assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice and a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
R. Jisung Park is an environmental and labor economist. He is a faculty fellow at the Kleinman Center and an assistant professor, with a primary appointment at the School of Policy and Practice and a secondary appointment at the Wharton School.

is the founding director of the Center for Environment, Energy & Economy and Lecturer in Sustainability at the Harrisburg University of Science and Technology and a member of the Kleinman Center’s Advisory Board.

Megan Ryerson is the UPS Chair of Transportation and Associate Chair of City and Regional Planning at the Stuart Weitzman School of Design.
Oscar Serpell
Associate Director of Academic Programming
Oscar Serpell oversees student engagement activities, new student programming, and alumni connections. He also participates in several key research projects at the center and also writes blog posts and policy digests on timely energy policy topics.
Andy Stone is producer and host of Energy Policy Now, the Kleinman Center’s podcast series. He previously worked in business planning with PJM Interconnection and was a senior energy reporter at Forbes Magazine.
Arthur van Benthem
Associate Professor of Business Economics and Public Policy
Arthur van Benthem is an expert in environmental and energy economics, exploring the economic efficiency of energy policy. He is a faculty fellow at the Kleinman Center and an associate professor of Business Economics and Public Policy at Wharton.
Bethany Wiggin
Associate Professor of German
Bethany Wiggin is an Associate Professor of German and the Founding Director of the Penn Program in Environmental Humanities.
Jennifer Wilcox is currently serving at the U.S. Department of Energy, on leave from the Kleinman Center. Her research expertise is in carbon capture and sequestration technologies, in order to minimize the negative impacts of fossil fuels.
