Oscar Serpell is a researcher, writer, and data analyst at the Kleinman Center for Energy Policy. He participates in several key research projects at the center and also writes blog posts and policy digests on timely energy policy topics. Serpell has written as a guest contributor for the Penn Sustainability Review and received the Elaine B. Wright Award for Excellence in Applying Environmental Studies to Community Service. He has held several student teaching and administrative positions in the Department of Earth and Environmental Science, the Department of Anthropology, and the Center for Excellence in Environmental Toxicology.
Serpell has a master’s degree in environmental studies and a B.A. in environmental management, both from the University of Pennsylvania.
