Faculty Fellows

About the Program

Faculty Fellows collaborate with the Kleinman Center to advance energy policy research, teaching, and public engagement.

Kleinman Center Faculty Fellows are Penn faculty members with active, collaborative relationships with the center. Fellows play an important role in advancing our work by sharing expertise, participating in public engagement, and helping shape the center’s research agenda. Faculty Fellows actively engage with energy policy in both their research and teaching.

If you would like to nominate a Penn faculty member for a fellowship, please contact us at kleinmanenergy@upenn.edu

Engagement

Faculty Fellows contribute to the Kleinman Center community by:

  • Participating in panels, lectures, and public discussions as available, and reliably attending center events.
  • Responding to media requests and appearing on the Energy Policy Now podcast.
  • Meeting with visitors and senior fellows.
  • Attending biannual Faculty Advisory Group meetings to discuss ongoing research, programs, and new initiatives.
  • Acknowledging their affiliation in publications, presentations, and media engagements related to Center-supported wor.

The Kleinman Center gives Faculty Fellows:

  • The opportunity to propose topics for the Center’s annual call for research grants.
  • Funding support for collaborative campus efforts such as speaker/visitor travel and closed-door workshops/roundtables.
