Senior Communications Specialist
Mollie Simon is senior communications specialist at the Kleinman Center where she leads the Center’s digital communications efforts. She oversees the Center’s website, social media channels, email marketing, and public-facing content, working closely with leadership to communicate energy policy research, events, and opportunities to diverse audiences.
As the Center’s primary web manager, Simon develops and publishes content across digital platforms and helps translate complex energy topics into accessible and engaging stories. She joined the Kleinman Center in 2016 as an administrative assistant and later served as communications coordinator before assuming her current role.
Prior to joining the Kleinman Center, Simon worked in environmental advocacy at both national and regional nonprofit organizations. She served as a Climate and Energy Fellow at the National Wildlife Federation and as Outreach Coordinator at Clean Air Council, where her work focused on climate and energy policy, including Clean Power Plan implementation and methane emissions regulation.
Simon holds a master’s degree in environmental studies from the University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in policy and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Villanova University.
