The Performance of Offset Credit Options Across Emission Trading Schemes
Chaeri Kim | September 15, 2020
This research aims to evaluate the performance of carbon offset options across emission trading schemes around the world. Based on comparative case studies of eight emission trading systems using carbon offsets, this study will investigate how carbon offset options are operated. By exploring what carbon offset options are available across the emission trading systems in the world, the results of this study hold significant implications for the effectiveness of carbon offset programs and may contribute to refining and/or redirecting mitigation policy
