Maddie Shenkan

Research Assistant

Maddie Shenkan is a senior at Wharton studying finance, artificial intelligence, and policy. Shenkan worked within Apollo’s Clean Transition Equity PE team during the summer of 2024 as the Kleinman Apollo Fellow. 

She has a strong passion for investing within the energy transition and impact investing more broadly. She has pursued this through internships at CalSTRS, Apollo, and Goldman Sachs.

Originally from San Francisco, Shenkan graduated from the French American International School, where she received the French Baccalaureate.

Outside the classroom at Penn, Shenkan is engaged in Wharton’s academic community, serving as a teaching assistant for Wharton 1010, the required leadership course for all Wharton freshmen, and is a part of numerous finance, policy and consulting clubs. Additionally, she is a research assistant in Professor Adam Grant’s Impact Lab, contributing to his projects and research in organizational psychology.
