Alondra Betancourt
Research Assistant
Alondra Betancourt is an undergraduate student in the College of Arts and Sciences, originally from Orlando, Florida, and of Puerto Rican descent. She is a research assistant with the Sustainable Agriculture Fund at the Kleinman Center and was a 2024 undergraduate fellow with the Center. Previously, she was a FERBS Fellow from September 2022 to May 2024, with plans to major in Neuroscience.
On campus, Alondra is involved in Alzheimer’s Buddies, Penn Neuroscience, and Moelis Access Science. Her academic interests include environmental risk management and energy justice, and she aspires to pursue an MD/PhD program. Outside of her studies, she enjoys exploring Philadelphia, working out, and staying connected with her family.
