2022 Carnot Prize Policy Lecture and Award Ceremony
Event Summary
This year marks our seventh annual Carnot Prize for distinguished contributions to energy policy—and our 2022 recipient is Lord Nicholas Stern, professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), author of the groundbreaking Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change, and former chief economist and senior vice president of the World Bank. Join us for a lecture in his honor by Penn economist Francis Diebold. Olivia Mitchell will present the award and a reception will follow.
We look forward to welcoming guests back to the Kleinman Center’s Energy Forum. In accordance with the University of Pennsylvania’s COVID-19 guidelines, you will be required to wear a mask and present a green PennOpen Pass (for members of the Penn community) or PennOpen Campus pass (for visitors) to attend.
