Marvin Schlanger

Marvin Schlanger is the former chairman of the Board of UGI Corporation. UGI is a holding company that distributes, stores, transports and markets energy products in the US and Europe. Schlanger began his career with Mobil and joined ARCO Chemical Company in 1975. He became chief financial officer and a member of the board of directors in 1989 and was appointed President and CEO in 1998. He also served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of LyondellBasell Industries, NV, a $50 billion global chemical producer and CEO and Chairman of the Board of CEVA Group, PLC, a $7 Billion International logistics supplier.

Schlanger received his chemical engineering degree from Rutgers University and holds a master of science in chemical engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
