Introducing Our Visiting Scholars Program
The Kleinman Center is pleased to introduce a Visiting Scholars Program, which will enhance energy research at Penn. The program brings scholars and renowned thought leaders to campus to continue work on established research projects with Penn faculty, or establish future research collaborations in the areas of energy policy or energy technology.
This spring, the Kleinman Center will sponsor three visiting scholars for week-long residencies: Dr. Mark Jacobsen of the University of California, San Diego; Dr. Christian Gollier of the University of Toulouse; and Dr. Matthew Kahn of the University of Southern California. Visiting scholars will participate in programming, courses, meetings, seminars, and/or public events.
The Kleinman Center is now seeking nominations from faculty and departments for visiting scholars in 2016-2017. Nominees must either be standing faculty from national or international universities, or established practitioners with a track record of contributions to the energy policy arena. Nominations are due by Friday, February 19th, 2016.
