For Faculty

Faculty Grants

Our faculty grants support innovative research and projects from Penn faculty across campus. We award grants ranging from $5,000 to $15,000 to support new research or supplement existing research in energy and climate policy. Faculty, postdocs, and doctoral students are encouraged to apply for funding during our open call in the spring.

Engage with Students, Senior Fellows, and Visiting Scholars

Each year, we welcome visiting scholars and senior fellows to our campus to connect with faculty and immerse themselves in the Penn community. Penn faculty are encouraged to connect with these distinguished visitors during their stay. Additionally, we invite faculty to present at our undergraduate fellows seminar. Our bi-weekly spring seminar allows undergraduates to meet and hear from energy researchers as they discuss the findings and the policy implications of their recent research.

Alumni & Friends

More than ever, the world needs clearly articulated policies that support sustainable energy transitions. The Kleinman Center has earned a reputation for promoting fresh thinking about how we might make these transitions. Our independent research agenda is only possible through the generous support of donors. Alumni are also encouraged to reach out if they would like to participate in alumni events with students on campus.
