Shubham Love
Research Assistant
Shubham Love is a graduate student specializing in environmental policy, with an undergraduate degree in biotechnology engineering. He has conducted research on the epigenetic regulation of nitrate and salt responses in rice, contributing to sustainable agri-food systems, and currently works as a research assistant with the Sustainable Agriculture Fund at the Kleinman Center.
He is the founder of Thundertigers, an environmental awareness initiative launched in his early teens to address the decline of India’s tiger population, which received national media recognition. His work includes award-winning participation in climate science symposiums and leading a student team to win a national biosphere preservation competition organized by the Government of India.
His interests include environmental governance, science policy, energy and climate, as well as wildlife photography and poetry.
