Kleinman Energia Fellow


Saloni Tandon is the 2023 Kleinman Energia Fellow.

Saloni has been working in the development sector for over nine years, focusing on policy and program design and evaluation across South Asia and Africa. As a master’s student of social policy and data analytics at Penn’s School of Social Policy & Practice, she is focused on energy and climate change with the objective of developing effective and relevant social protection tools that could reduce the vulnerability of women in general, and women led-enterprises in specific. Saloni also has a master’s degree in rural management from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA), and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Hindu College, Delhi University.
