Applications are now being accepted for the 2019 Kleinman Birol Fellowship at the International Energy Agency (IEA). The Kleinman Birol Fellowship was established jointly in 2016 by International Energy Agency and the Kleinman Center for Energy Policy at the University of Pennsylvania. It was named to honor the contributions of Fatih Birol, Carnot Prize recipient and executive director of the IEA.
The fellowship enables a graduate student to spend the summer (10 to 12 weeks) working on energy policy-related issues at the IEA in Paris, France. Applicants for the 2019 Kleinman Birol Fellowship should be highly motivated individuals with a strong interest in the interactions of energy and environment policies, in particular for climate change mitigation and adaptation.
