THE ORGANIZATION:

ERA works with a wide variety of industry sectors, from automotive, aerospace, oil & gas, woodworking, pharmaceutical, and may others. They are an international company with offices across the U.S. and Canada, and they provide consulting and software services to companies with operations in Japan, Germany, U.S., Canada, Mexico, France, and Italy. Each industry and country comes with its own set of environmental regulations and needs, making this an internship with much knowledge to gain!

THE POSITION:

ERA Environmental Management Solutions is seeking an energetic graduate student with a dedication to sustainable manufacturing and environmental sciences to join their dynamic group of seasoned environmental consultants in the fast-paced world of environmental regulatory compliance.

They are seeking someone who wants to hone their sustainability and life cycle analysis talents in order to help manufacturers be successful in today’s circular economy and global partnerships. With increased demand from grassroots organizations and the global market for companies to be greener, manufacturing enterprises need tools to demonstrate their sustainability efforts. You will use your knowledge of environmental calculations and principles to help assess the sustainability performance of ERA clients, including their zero landfill, re-manufacturing, and pollution prevention efforts, in addition to honing your data management and assessment skills. You will be working with complex data sets, KPIs, and other life cycle analytic tools.

ERA is offering a full time summer graduate internship in their Philadelphia office, with employment opportunities available based on performance. This is an ideal position for graduate students interested in experiencing hands-on environmental data management and graduate students looking to break into the industry.
